Thanks for reading Part II of the environmental risk discussion. I mean the emerging issue that nobody dares to talk about: the risk potentials triggered by large-scale application of mRNA vaccines. Please note the numerous new applications in preparation for humans, livestock, and animals in the open environment including wildlife and fish, as well as novel types of synthetic RNAs and carriers - and that “at scale” (when involving complex lifeforms and technologies, this is about much more than “just” quantity).
I am happy to tell you I just published a preprint on this topic and am pursuing publication in a journal as well. Please do read the preprint and share.
The COVID-19 vaccines were exempted from environmental risk assessment by the EU when they were first developed with the aim to quickly target the pandemic.
As described in previous substacks, and elsewhere, concerns have arisen both in terms of their wastage or via the dispersion of vaccine-derived material (for example, the synthetically stabilized gene fragments resemble biological activities that can be disseminated in various forms and have been found to be shockingly stable and persistent, and furthermore are often incorporated by lipid nanoparticle carriers or extracellular vehicles which make them even further resistant to degradation).
As novel mRNA platforms are fast-tracked for agricultural applications in several countries and as some for veterinary use have already been approved, please consider the potentially irreversible ramifications to the environment.
I understand that the mRNA vaccines for humans are a sensitive topic. We had a tragic pandemic with uncountable horrific consequences, due to many reasons for sure. But now, we must think critically and independently about these numerous novel drug formulations (which had been developed for decades and were previously known to involve too many open questions still). I wish I would not have to say, "I told you so." However, virtually all concerns that I describe about the mRNA vaccines in my book are now being confirmed by many others. Just consider the intense scope of the novelties on so many different levels. They are indeed very complex drug formulations, and yes, from a regulatory perspective, long classified as gene therapy processes - prior to, and even at the beginning of the pandemic, this was amply clear (as this is increasingly coming to light, driven by a genofix mindset, this contentious topic is now portrayed as if everything is under control).
I have spent years studying these technologies. What I have unearthed so far about their potential environmental risks is so much more troubling than I previously thought. Since this is not rigorously investigated, there is the hope I am wrong. But if I am not, we will be facing large-scale ramifications that are irreversible. It may affect the health of the entire ecosystem and destroy organic/nonGMO endeavors (what will be left that is uncontaminated?!). Ironically, there are strong reasons to believe it will also trigger the environmental evolution of novel pathogens. All of this I described more fully in my preprint.
And what will we see in terms of socioeconomic and political implications? Will we thereby have new lockdowns, fearing new "zoonotic" events which in part may have been fostered by vaccine-impacted microorganisms? And if my worst fears come true and synthetically stabilized gene fragments end up causing (inheritable) genetic changes, what will this mean? Will their origin be acknowledged or will people still be silenced who try to warn about these too many new drugs at scale?
Again, please read and share my preprint, "Existing and Emerging mRNA Vaccines and their Environmental Impact - a Transdisciplinary Assessment," available at https://osf.io/preprints/osf/k2grj
